So what have I been up to lately? Here's a couple things I have done the past couple of weeks. I am having a lot of fun playing with my saw and creating a few things to sell. My "Grandma Green" tool box is so fun and cute. Perfect for a table decoration, carry all, tool box, or hang it upside down and you have a shelf and towel bar! So many fun things you can do with this fun box. I plan on making more and in different colors, my "Grandma Green" was the first can of paint I grabbed.
Next is a 12x12 tray. This was a learning experience for sure! I don't have the "right" tools to make a tongue and groove joint, but I made it work anyway. This cutie is distressed with an espresso finish. If you know me, you know I love my coffee so I was excited to find that little can of stain. It is completed with rope handles. This little guy can be used as a tray, hang on the wall for a shelf, coffee table box, and more. I feel in love with this piece as I was making it. My sweet son actually cut some of the pieces; his first time using a power saw and a palm sander. I was having a proud mommy moment....
More projects to come I'm sure. I am in the middle of a dresser redo at the moment that I can't wait to finish tomorrow. I'll share soon!
